Went for breakfast at Cabela's . . . there's one thing on the menu - Biscuits & Gravy, Eggs and Bacon and two coffee's for $2.99! It was taken off their menu & people complained so it is back. Thank goodness we shared ONE plate. We're in to the land of HUGE portions.

Now we are in Eugene, Oregon getting the awning cloth replaced and the DOOR fixed (read the story below) for about a week.

Night before leaving and Seal Bay R.V. owners host a huge Guy Fawkes bonfire night. It was a 'warm' welcome for a stormy, cold night. The owners are British. There were a few super strong British accents around the fire . . . we had difficulty understanding some conversations.
We left about 8:00 am Saturday morning. Kylie is enjoying having the 'house' to herself while en route.
Well, here is a bit of a story .... read on!!!!!
We cruised down island for two hours, got right on the ferry to Vancouver with only about five minutes to spare. Great, all is going well. Parked, got all set to go upstairs for a warm, full breakfast (oatmeal for Marc). The door latch broke inside and we couldn't get out! A bit of panic set in at first. It's about a two hour crossing. Marc worked diligently for about an hour, trying to get the latch to open but no luck. A female employee came by & asked if she could see inside the coach, when I explained "would love to, can't get out." She tried from outside to get it open, no luck. She came back about a half hour later and suddenly the ferry engine quit and the alarms went off, she said "that's not good .... you HAVE to get out, now!" Again, panick was setting in! So, grabbed our I.D. and Marc opened the emergency window (the big, living room window), not knowing if it would go back in or not; he jumped down, I passed Kylie to him (she was calmer than I) and then my turn. About one minute later, we realized, the window snapped shut & we couldn't get IN the coach. So, female worker came by and two male workers to help. Somehow, finally, the outside latch worked and we were IN. Phew. Had enough time left en route and the ferry engine started again that Marc could fix the door enough to get us in and out, with a screw driver and flashlight.

So, here we are (above) at the border line-up. Wasn't too bad, an hour long and no trouble passing through. We figured we had enough adrenaline for one day.
Same weather we left behind, all the way to Lacey, Washington to Cabela's where we parked at 6 pm for the night.
