Navejo jewellry ... this piece is about 12 x 6" piece of art, belt buckle with Onyx, oyster shell, mother of pearl, opal and of course, turquoise. An even larger buckle was $1200 (this one approx $800). Incredible pieces of art - necklaces, pendants, rings, bracelets and no two pieces alike - each with a multitude of inlays.

AND no market would be complete without the entertainment! We have quickly realized, and our friends have stated this, that the majority of Yuma's population is definitely about 20+ years older than we are. So, a very fun market to check out but very surprising to see so many seniors and the vendors gearing their sales towards the older crowd.....gadgets and motorized scooters, etc.

Interesting, this particular RV park costs people only $200/month for a pad or rental fee if they buy one of the park models (permanent mobile home) plus about $65.00 for hydro. No wonder there are so many people from Sask/Alberta/S. Dakota/Wisconsin and other wintery places living here for the winter.
