Our first adventure into the park. Upper and lower falls were well worth seeing. Lower falls was approx 380 steps down the side of the canyon. Marc went to the bottom and on ascending, quickly found out about the altitude here. There were signs everywhere, warning people to take lots of breaks and water coming back up.
Saw alot of wildlife today. Buffalo and elk were the most prevelant but we were fortunate to see three wolves (one white one). They were about 150 ' away so we viewed them through scopes.
Mammoth hot springs below at upper terraces. Calcite & various bacteria give a vast array of colors.
