Spent the better part of the day travelling around, looking at some of the sights with friends (visiting from Apache Junction - originally from Seal Bay RV Park in Comox).   They will be coming back to soak up some more time, viewing the many sights around and in Sedona.

Chester Fields Fine Art is displayed throughout the U.S. and Singapore.   He has spent years in the U.S. and  British Columbia. He has a longstanding career & after years of painting he successfully transitioned to sculpting in 1984 with "Splashdown."  His fine art has received formal awards and exhibitions; purchasers include golf courses, Royalty of Saudi Arabia, Sultan of Brunei, Kristy Yamaguchi, Harley Davidson. . . to name a few.

Have to say, pictures do not do the sculptures credit ... they are 'amazing' - with the size and the detail in various precious metals!  Have not seen anything like these, anywhere!.

Now a State Park & managed by State Park and Forest Service, with a fee of $10 a visit, (21 miles south of Flagstaff, along the Oak Canyon from Sedona) this is one of Life Magazine's 10 most popular swimming holes - a natural sliding rock session of swimming pools.   The fall colors for us, show a totally different view of when we visited in March and the road was closed just north of here due to snowfall.

View from the Cathedral North with Choya Cactus in bloom.  The Cathedral "Chapel of Holy Cross" (primarily  Catholic but open to all " God may come to life in the souls of all men & be a living reality.")  In 2007 Arizona voted the cathedral to be one of the seven man-made wonders of Arizona.  Sculptor Marguerite Stuade a student of Frank Lloyd Wright designed this 1956 building.
